HOUSEPLANT LADY VIGNETTES CALADIUMS

Caladiums are so pretty! They are like
mini elephant  ear plants. I usually place them in a row around my front deck. I'm into container gardening now, so will try
to put them in nice sturdy pots this time.  These plants are so colorful. The large container doesn't have to be fancy.

Here are some ideas I am considering for my vignette on my deck:

AMERICANA WREATHS

My cousin started selling wreaths made from plastic tablecloths. They were very pretty because she used at least three colors. I asked her to make me a red, white, and blue one for me to used on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and  Veteran's Day. She did a good job.

HOUSEPLANT LADY VIGNETTES, SNAKE PLANTS!

My new project is to set up a snake plant vignette in my living room. I saw varieties of tall snake plants at a Farmer's Market Greenhouse. I suddenly got a great idea! Display snake plants in a group on a table.  This would be better than my grandma's  snake plant in a old dented rusty tub.

SNAKE PLANT BIO:

Sansevieria trifasciata, also called snake plant, mother-in-law's tongue or Saint George's sword is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native
to tropical West Africa from Nigeria
east to the Congo. (SOURCE: Wikipedia)

PLANT CARE:

Carefree, tolerates low light, grows
better in medium or bright light. Let
soil dry between waterings.

Clean Air Plant: Improves air quality

in the home!
